What Membership Means for You
NEHA membership helps environmental health professionals stay current, build credibility, connect with peers, and strengthen their impact. Members join and renew for many reasons, including credential attainment, training, continuing education, networking, professional resources, and support for the environmental health profession.
NEHA offers membership options for environmental health professionals at different career stages.
- Professional — For individuals active in environmental health in government, uniformed services, academia, or industry — $135 annually
- Emerging Professional — For individuals or active-duty military within the first five years of their environmental health career — $45 annually
- Student — For individuals currently enrolled in a recognized or accredited college or university and not employed full-time in environmental health — $15 annually
- Retired Professional — For individuals retired from the field of environmental health — $50 annually
- International — For environmental health professionals who reside outside of the United States — $110 annually
NEHA membership can help reduce the cost of professional development and participation in NEHA programs. Members receive 20% or greater savings on many eligible NEHA credentials, exams, trainings, events, and other offerings. If you plan to take a course, attend AEC, pursue or renew a credential, or continue your professional learning, member pricing can add up and may exceed the cost of membership itself.
